This stout is rich and roasty, with a distinctive coffee aroma and flavor, hints of bittersweet chocolate, and a whisper of dark fruits and citrus. Brewed with roasted malts & a Guatemalan Colombian coffee blend from spooky brew coffee in Maple Lake, MN.

A - Pours out an opaque brown-black body, with a light tan head, and small clumps of bubbly lacing.
S - Fairly quiet, with a bit of coffee sourness and a strong line of roasted malt char. Pretty good.
T - Follows the nose, but dialed up bright, with an open of chocolate, molasses and dark bread, a middle of toasty goodness mingling with growing coffee acidity, and finishing with soft bitterness and continued acidity.
M - Clean, bright and easy to know. Quite drinkable, and a quick, sharp finish.
O - Solid coffee stout, quite tasty and pretty satisfying all told.

Hits all the notes of a good coffee stout except it's a little overly carbonated for me. Not by a ton but enough to notice. Would have liked some richer coffee flavors and some more boldness up front. First introduction to dangerous man and I'll be back for more.

Carbonation reminds me of a soft drink - on the sides of the glass, below the surface, and fizzy instead of a thick creamy head on top.
Smell is a weak coffee, but apparently strong enough to overpower the other stout aromas.
Taste is similar to smell - weak coffee, but not a lot else. Maybe the coffee is drowning out the other flavors.
Feel is fizzy like a soft drink - not what I typically go for in a stout.
Overall, an okay coffee stout if the options are limited, but not one that I would seek out.
