Dangerous Man’s Chocolate Milk Stout (CMS) is a heavenly sanctum for those without hope. One of our most popular beers, the CMS is almost always on tap. The chocolate on this beer can be smelled a mile away; it has a rich, chocolate milk scent paired with a slight, almost invisible, nose of hop and roast bitterness. Thick and chewy, the CMS is a pint of dessert! When you drink it, think of the chocolate and the lactose, try to isolate both and understand how they play off each other to make our most popular beer.

From a 12oz can with no date on it.
This beer is a very dark and pitch black in color. The head that forms is a 2 and 1/2 finger tan color. The head retention is quite good and there's some beautiful lacing on the glass.
There's not a lot of lactose in the aroma. I am getting a ton of dark chocolate on my nose. It is pleasing, but not what I was expecting from the name of the beer.
Taste - The flavor is chocolate based. It starts off with a nice bitter dark chocolate flavor, and this flavor lingers throughout, but not always at the top. I get some sweeter chocolate notes that add to the dark chocolate with hints of lactose. The finish is back to the dark chocolate with some bitterness.
The body feels good. Smooth, with a bitter feeling on the back.
Interesting take on a milk stout. Glad I got to try it.

Nice head, moderate lacing, Notes of sweet chocolate, milk sugar, very little aftertaste. This is a really good offering.

This beer has a good, but maybe understated, flavor. The balance of the chocolate is just right.
The feel is okay, but maybe a little on the thin side for a milk stout.
The smell is light. Would have liked it to stand out a little more.

On tap at Dangerous Man. Poured an opaque, black hue with a mocha colored head of bubbly foam. It smelled of cocoa, toffee, and caramel malt. Sweet chocolate, toffee and caramel.
