Pours a clear amber with soft foam that completely covered the surface of the beer for a long time.
Smell is tart with notes of bourbon, oak, vanilla, citrus and funk.
Taste is awesome. Potently tart and acidic, with big notes of oaky vanilla, bourbon, citrus citrus peel, funk and a bit of bitterness. There is a slight sweetness lurking in the bitternesss which just brings everything to a thunderous close. Superb balance, and a dry finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific sour, one of the best from Brekeriet so far.
