Pours a deep red with soft, pink head.
Smell is oaky and vinous with a big smack of sour cherries and lesser notes of cherry jam, raspberry vinegar and marzipan.
Taste is sour with plenty of acidity. Strong oak notes envelope a torrent of cherries and cherry jam, with lots of vinous notes and some red wine and almonds. Very dry with just a glimmer of sweetness on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, dry and brightly carbonated.
Overall, a great sour, complex and deep.
