Brettlehem - kind of funny name; Brettanomyces and Betlehem; a X-mas saison?!?!
A: Pours sligthly hazy brown with a tall brown compact head. Some nice lacings.
S: Chocolaty and bready malt, somewhat sweet. A mild smell of clove and other x-masy spices along with yeasty notes. Nice - yes, Saisony - NO (more like a herbed beer). The brett is nowhere to be found (at least not in the smell).
T: No we're talking; stable and leather. Yeast and spices. Fruity. Malty. But I can sence the x-masy vibe - Swedish x-mas spices; cardamom, clove and cinnamon. A very mild, but still noticable bretty hint lures in the back.
M: A sour and somewhat bitter aftertaste stays for some time. Body is kind of thin while carbonation is mild.
O: Well, make up your mind - Saison OR X-mas beer (Vienna lager or something like that), this isn't very good in either way. Not a bad beer but kind of all over the place.
