A: Pours hazy straw-colored, with an aggresively sizzeling white enormous head. Almost no lacings.
S: Wow, instead of smoke from beech they used peat-smoked whiskymalt - very obvious in the smell. Some fruit and spices lures in the back.
T: More balance compared to the taste; peat-smoked malt is balanced by fruityness. There is also a mild sweetness along with yeasty notes (the label states that brett is used - sadly the smokes kills that). Smoked ham.
M: Long smoky aftertaste. A surprisingly light body. Carbonation is mild.
O: Interesting but not as complex and well balanced as a Baberg-Rauchbier...
