Looks and smells like a chocolate stout. The burned marshmallow and graham cracker come through in the taste and the finish is more roast-ey than sweet. Medium body and low carbonation.
It's a pretty good translation to a s'more. It's weird and definitely a desert beer, but it's worthwhile and I'm glad I got the 4 pack.

Pours a pitch black color with hints of deep reddish-brown where the light tries to sneak through the edges. Finger and a half of tan, fizzy head and lacing that leaves a little quicker than I would have anticipated. Aroma is of roasted coffee, cinnamon, graham crackers(This is a s'mores stout) and some hoppy, earth tones that were unexpected. Taste is of bitter chocolate, raw cocoa powder, cool vanilla, heavily roasted coffee, bitter hops and some grassy, farmyard notes. TOO much bitterness in this one and takes away from the balance and the smoothness of the cinnamon and creaminess. Bitterness lingers throughout the beer and is the only detracting(yet major) factor that keeps this beer from excellent...

Appearance: Deep, opaque amber, with a large, somewhat coarse white head, which only slowly fades. Thick, glass-coating lacing, with only minor breaks adorns the glass walls.
Aroma: Rich roasted malt, cold coffee, and bitter cocoa dominate the aroma. There are also some rather earthy hops, which seem, overall, an unnecessary distraction.
Taste: The taste begins with cold coffee, bitter cocoa, and vanilla. There is a wave of earthy hop flavors afterward, which clash with the other flavors. As the taste progresses, the hops earthiness intensifies, overshadowing the s'mores qualities. Finishes with bitter cocoa, chocolate, coffee, and harsh, earthy hops.
Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, and very full, with soft carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: As others have said, I will say also, the earthy hops are a deal breaker for this style. While good, this would have been great with a more complimentary hop selection.
Presentation: Packaged in a twelve-ounce aluminum can, with a large, circular pop-off lid that allows the can to serve as a glass of sorts, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.
