This is a really good Red ale that has a nice malt body and just enough hops. It is almost a NW Red because of the IBUs, but the hop flavor is not overpowering. It pours an amber color with a medium head and a nice caramel malt aroma.

another very good beer from Heathen. Nice amber ale. Not a strong hop flavor, maybe a little grassy. Malt is a little cereal & hay.

Look was a medium transparent red with not much head that dissipated quickly but left good lacing. Couldn't pick up much smell. Taste left a chocolate first impression that changed more into toasted oats. Mouthfeel was a little thin. Overall a decent amber.

Imperial Pint at f/stop Fitzgerald in Salem Oregon.
$6.00
Pours a typical amber . Reddish brown body. Small lighter tan head.
Malty nose..toasted brown bread and some earthieness.
Taste is pretty simple even for the style. Like the nose, but rather subdued.
Good enough mouth feel. Medium. Could do with more heft.
Average Amber.

On tap at Lost Boys' Garage. Clear reddish copper with a generous white head that recedes quickly but leaves some streaky lacing. Aroma is not strong but has notes of sweet caramel malt and floral hops. Taste is the same with some mild bitterness.
