Rated 1/17/2020. My wife ordered this beer, and I sampled it. I'm not really into the pumpkin spice thing and this beer does not have that much spice flavor. It is medium bodied and more of a vegetable flavor. Quite decent. 13 IBUs

Clear brownish amber with a big foam-up to start, but settles down to an attractive sudsy pour in the big Stella goblet. Very light body, like a spiced lager. Some spice in the nose. The pumpkin flavor is pleasant enough and the scratchy bitter cloves and cinnamon don't come at you until later.
More dry than you might expect, but still a malty sweet note. Since I'm drinking this five months after bottling it may have gone through some changes to the malt character. A little bitterness in the aftertaste but mostly it tastes like old, bitterish spice. Drinkable enough but a fresher taste with more squash would be welcome. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium red-orange with a thin, light khaki head that dissipates to patches and a thick ring around the glass with light lacing. Aroma of neutral malt with a hint of biscuit, pumpkin and light pumpkin pie spicing. Flavor is neutral malt, pumpkin, pie spices. Starts semi-sweet then dries out leaving a slightly astringent spice and light hop finish. Medium bodied with very active carbonation, almost a bit over-carbonated. A nice pumpkin ale, on the drier side for this style. Spicing is present, but lightly done, good pumpkin flavor although the flavor tapers off into the finish leaving it somewhat starkly bitter and spicy. Good, but could use some more pumpkin and malt body to be great.
