This is made with Amarillo and Columbus hops according to the brewery. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham. Pours an appealing clear yellow with plenty of froth. Aroma of candied watermelon and hot electronics.
Tastes very alcoholic and sweet, somewhat sharp but not as acidic as many of these DIPA beasts. There's a canned peach flavor and a hint of something plasticky. Woody and bitter finish. I don't find much pleasure in it, but maybe that's the point. This is definitely a beer for the Dark Side.
