This collaboration between Heathen Brewing and Boundary Bay Brewing puts West Coast back into double IPA. Hopped with Centennial, tons of Mosaic, and Lemon Drop to add a citrusy twist.

I really like the beer of both these breweries, but this joint venture isn't what I thought it should be. It's good beer, but I was expecting great beer. Nice mild hop flavor with the same finish. Good malt taste with a small to medium head. The aroma is a good mix of hops and malts. I probably need to try this again when my expectations aren't so high. 70 IBUs Rated 4-13-2019

Served in shaker pint. poured a lightly hazy honey-gold color with about 1/2 inch of white head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma led off with some light grain sweetness, with some citrus and pine hops backing things up.
The flavor profile was the same; sweet at first, some hop bite later on.
The body was medium-full for the style, with a slightly sweet finish.
Drinkability was fine, I'll have another. overall, a solid NWIPA, worth a shot if you see it.
