This beer pours an orange/amber color with a small to medium head. Aroma is more hop than malt. It is a hoppy version of a Marzen. I like the German style Marzens because of the malt flavor which this doesn't.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has some hints of amber hues along with a light to moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a large, thin patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of toasted malts along with hints of biscuit malts and spicy hops. No bitterness is perceptible, but there are enough underlying hops to mask any sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is dominated by malty flavors, but seems to be lighter in body compared to other beers in the style.
