This beer pours a purplish color with no head. The aroma is blueberries and slight basil as is the taste. The basil flavor stands out more so on this beer than the basil on a lemon basil cider I've tried. This is one of the better sours that I've tasted, in my opinion. Rated 1-20-2024

L: Pours an opaque purple. Light purple head has good retention.
S: Fresh basil, tart berries
T: I was unsure from the nose how much basil would be present. It’s a dominant flavor that pairs well with the tart blueberries.
F: Medium bodied, lively carbonation, tart finish
O: Very interesting and very good. I could see some people loving this and others hating it. I’m leaning towards loving.
