Served in a shaker pint glass at the tap room.
Spendin' the afternoon watchin' the Bears take on (and lose to...) the Vikings and workin' my way through a new brewery's lineup, starting with the Blonde. This stuff pours a cloudy gold-straw topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises wheat, light lemon zest, and a dash of coriander. The taste brings in more of the same, though now the coriander and lemon are stronger, more assertive. The body is a very light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly crisp finish. Overall, this blonde was approached in a manner similar to that of a witbier (Belgian-y yeast and all) and it shows. Not a bad start, something I wish I could say about the Bears in this game...
