This is very good, a wonderful ipa. On draft in dallas, nose is quiet floral with wonderful dry hop aroma. The overall body is light with low malt character, and the bitterness is excellent though mildly astringent, good beer

6 ounce pour in a tulip at Easy Tiger! in Austin.

Arrives with a frothy cream-colored head and hazy copper body. 4.5

Whoo! Smells awesome. Are we sure this ain't my love, Yellow Rose? All types of tropical. Mango if I had to single out a fruit. 4.25

Tasting fruity as shit too. But more biscuity malt than Yellow Rose. Reminds me of the Other Half Hop Showers flavor. Tinges of caramel and sweetness. Clearly more malt, present in the appearance and flavor, than YR, but it's damn good and should still please hop heads. 4.25

Drinks light as hell, refreshing and juicy. Malty sweet middle gives way to a dry, mildly bitter and resinous finish. 4.25

Seems like a maltier Yellow Rose but I am way on board. Damn good.

On tap at D&T in Houston.

A: Pours a hazed yellow/orange color. A one finger white head forms and recedes. Light lace is left behind.
S: Citrus, orange rind, juicy hops up front. Pale malts, light buttery aroma. That is about all I get.
T: Citrus fruits up front, which leads to diacetyl. Buttery popcorn flavors. Along with an odd phenolic, almost plastic flavor. Just odd, and not very pleasing.
M/O: A medium body that is crisp and effervescent. The buttery malts, and odd off flavors make this something I am not in a hurry to come back to.

Lone Pint does have consistency problems, so maybe this is an off keg. As is, this is just flawed and not up to their best by a long shot.
