Great beer. Thick, creamy body. Nose is a ton of coffee, with dark chocolate and roasted malts in the background. Taste follows. Coffee and chocolate are very present upfront. Finish is creamy roasted malts and a touch of sweet vanilla.

Wow! The fourth installment of Knecht Ruprecht is astounding.

The beer pours an inky pitch black with a mocha colored head. Upon first sip I feel like I'm drinking a chocolatey milkshake; sweet and creamy. The coffee flavor is pretty integrated until the beer warms but then becomes more apparent. The aroma is full of espresso and a hint of roast and chocolate. This is wonderful. Lone Pint did a great job on this one.
