Had this on draught at Flying Saucer Austin in a pint glass.
A: correct for style. Straw colored with excellent lacing that destroyed the glass. In a good way.
S: like burying your nose in a baggie of hops. Had to stop out of fear of being identified as a Zythophile.
T: agree with the diacetyl however there is so much more. Fresh hops flavor balances nicely. I didn't want this to end.

A: Pours a clear golden/yellow color. A dense and creamy two finger white head forms with good retention. Light lace is left behind.
S: I get some buttery aromas up front. Which sticks around for a little bit before some herbal, earthy tea like hops take over. Some bitterness in the finish.
T: Again, certainly some buttery notes. Possibly diacetyl. Though the hops come into play after a minute. Herbal, earthy, and tea like with some bitterness lingering.
M/O: A medium body with crisp carbonation. Smooth as well. The hop is not my favorite and the buttery notes keep this from being something I will come back to a lot. Though a nice pint if you can get past that.
I am probably over sensitive to diacetyl, but I do get a substantial buttery note up front. Then the hops take over. Which is not bad, just not my favorite. An OK IPA, not one of Lone Pints better ones IMO though.
