This year we brewed a Toasted Oatmeal Porter. Dark chocolate colored head. Hints of malt, hops, and toasted oatmeal in the nose. Beer is black with a medium body. Tastes initially of sweet toffee and roasted grain. Finishes slightly dry with a delicate bitterness.

At the bar I was at, and on the brewery website, this listed as a porter. Regardless, it is a very enjoyable beer. Had it from tap into a shaker pint. Very dark brown with nice light brown head and lacing. Definite dark chocolate smell and taste up front. As it warms, a bit of white chocolate and some coffee and roasted oatmeal. Recommended!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
