This beer is terribly underrated. The discrepancy may come from the fact that I am enjoying it at the Lone Pint 10th anniversary and it has been aging for about 2 years. This is an excellent imperial stout!
Poured at the brewery from tap into a tulip glass. Rich dark brown with a great brown head and excellent curtain lacing. Wonderful dark chocolate smell and taste. Exquisitely warm and comforting. Sharp spice finish but the taste come together in a marvelous way.
One of the best stout I have had in recent memory.

Pour is black with a cinnamon head that fades quickly
nose is roasted coffee, fruity rum, spice, coconut
taste is a hit of rum, coconut, vanilla, chocolate and coffee coming through on the back end.
A bit over carbonated for an imperial stout. lingering coconut rum, roasted coffee, chocolate. Hint of fudge.
One of the better rum barrel aged beers I've had.
A ton of rum. If you like rum, this is for you.
