A: Pours with a bit of haze, that clears up. A dense white head forms with plenty of retention and lace. For a Berliner, the pour is a bit odd, but no bother.
S: A peach/apple ester like quality in the nose. Cereal grains, and that is about it.
T: Again, a peachy/apple character. Maybe a bit of a sourness, but mostly seems like esters. Cooked corn and cereal grains, and becomes sweeter than expected.
M/O: A light body with moderate carbonation. This should finish drier with a more crisp and acidic bite, and leaves me wanting more in that regard. Not something I'm looking to come back to again.
Seems like they had a very basic and generic pale ale base, and just added the bare minimum of souring bacteria. Outside of making different versions of slightly tweaked Yellow Rose, they don't really seem to make much I enjoy.

Holy shit this is bad. Blows me away that a brewery capable of making one of the best IPAs I’ve ever had can make other beers so off. This is about as bad as Saison Doug.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a puffy head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big of a sour green apple and cracker malt smell mixed with lots of lemon and some lime. Other aromas of a light grain and a bit of hay are there as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a bit of sour lemon and lime mixed with some light cracker malt flavors and a little bit of green apple. As the taste advances the sour gets a bit higher, all while the cracker malt lightens and some light grain comes to the tongue. At the end there is a bit of must and funk that greets the tongue and with the rest, leaves one with an approachable, slightly sour taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a higher carbonation level, both of which are rather nice for the sour and crisp tastes of the brew.
Overall – A rather nice berliner weisse ale. Not too sour, with a nice lightness and clean taste.
