Our Brown Ale is inspired by the ales brewed in England, before the sun set on their empire. Gentleman’s Relish is an American interpretation, more robust in all aspects, yet creamy and silky smooth due to the infusion of nitrogen bubbles. Goes well with toast.
Tasting notes: Dark brown with a thick creamy head; chocolate-caramel-nuttiness yields to a clean hoppy finish. Smooth.
Malt: Maris Otter, Wheat, and Dark Crystal
Hops: Challenger
Yeast: House

Very dark ruby-tinted beer with a good tan head. Nose is very malty, with a sweet scent of caramel, maybe a little touch of toffee. Good flavor: malt is smooth and sweet, with little to no roast or black patent, just tasty caramel. The nitro adds a good touch that's superior to the normal: it does give it a very smooth, almost cask-like texture. I wonder if it's slightly carbonated as well, though not much? Solid brown ale. Wish it were a little less strong, so I could drink more in one sitting.

Dark, with a dense and persistent head. Ok on the nose, but beautiful on the palate. Malty and rich without being sweet at all. Finishes warm and cozy. I really like this one ( on tap at Chimes).
