Big on flavor yet quite small on ABV, our take on the Pale Mild Ale sacrifices nothing for a sessionable beer while retaining a roasted maltiness and a slight hoppy bitterness. This ale is notoriously difficult to capture in focus on camera…

Malt: Pilsner, Imperial, & Double Roasted Crystal
Hops: Challenger
Yeast: House Yeast

Murky copper brownish, beige head, excellent retention.
Raisin, caramel, brown bread on the nose.
It tastes malty, definitely a raisin and caramel profile, English hops are prominent.
It has a medium dry finish.
I’ve seen this in the store and started to buy it but never did. My wife picked up a single for me as a surprise. All I can say is, WOW, I’ve been missing out. This is, by far, the best UK style domestic I’ve ever had. I only wish she’d bought a 6 pack.
Can’t wait to get more.

Pours deep copper with a thin but frothy head. The nose gives whole wheat bread with caramel, coffee, and hints of berry. The taste is well balanced, equal parts toasty malt & light caramel / toffee flavors. Light spice that almost gives a bit of a holiday spin as well. Finishes smooth and slightly resinous. Overall kind of surprised by the depth of flavor here, really enjoying this on a cold night.

Canned 9/4/25. Drank 10-4/25
Pour is an amber/brown with a nice cap of light beige foam. Good retention.
Nose is grassy hops, toasted malt, toasted bread crust, floral.
Taste follows. Floral, grassy hops overlaid with toasted malt, caramel, toffee, toasted bread crust, moderate bitterness.
Crisp and easy to drink.

Very enjoyable.

Bronze pour, steady khaki head. Nose is toffee and floral.

Taste shares toffee, toasted grain, medium kilned malt, light woodiness, floral. Mouthfeel is light, but seems heavier than the ABV would suggest. Finish is malty with a light hop bite
