On-tap 3/4/2016 at Doherty’s Ale House in Warwick, RI, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a dark reddish brown color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains caramelized malts, some fruit and some hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with a hearty malt character. Then some mildly sweet flavors of caramel and fruit come in. The hops presence is mild but complementary and there’s a faint touch of sourness that helps bring a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, not the best representation of style, I’m not really sure what they were going for here but it’s a decent beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
