From an undated 16oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a beautiful slightly hazy deep orange with about a finger and a half of white head. Excellent retention and lacing.
Smell is faint but definitely picking up some oranges, tangerines and a bit of pineapple and grapefruit.
Juicy aroma fades in the taste. Some bitter pine and a bit of earth. Juice returns as the beer warms-mild tangerine and orange.
Drinks quite easily. Medium bodied. Slight bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation.
Overall, my first experience with Ravenous Brewing is a positive one. Not knocking my socks off, but a very drinkable IPA.
