Appearance: pours a golden yellow color with a finger or so of a white head with stubborn retention and leaving behind a big frothy lacing. Strong clarity and brightness to it.
Smell: maltiness, ranging from toasted grains to pale malt, notes of lemon-bread sweetness. some alcohol giving notes of light fruits to vanilla. fairly strong yeastiness, mostly phenolic but some esters. strong spicy to earthy qualities along with some clove.
Taste: opens up with a light yeastiness, subtle notes of clove. opens up with a maltiness that give notes of toasted grains and pale malts, eventually mixing with other ingredients to give a slight lemon-bread sweetness. some sulfur comes through. towards the end the yeast returns full force, predominantly phenolic with some light esters in the mix. mostly spicy and earthy with some light fruity esters. alcohol is just shy of hidden with a slight vanilla booze note near the end.
Mouthfeel: nice bigger body for a belgian. a bit sticky and lingering. hop bitterness balances any sweetness, even ending slightly bitter. alcohol warmth is apparent.
Overall: upon release I was much harsher on this beer than I am at drinking my bottle (I think it was released almost a year ago) I had hope that it was a bit young at the time of release and to a certain extent I think i was right. Still not what I would think of as a tripel. The yeast character is good but I don't think its quite fitting for this light of a beer, I have enjoyed a similar yeast in quads before. Not the best bomber release from Champion and not quite worth the price tag.

Pours hazy and the color of peaches with a 1 finger white head that dissipates rapidly to a light film with a ring around the glass. Tropical punch like in appearance.
Fruity and spicy Belgian yeast on the aroma. Smell of light alcohol and citrus peel. Maybe a bit of coriander. The initial aroma of the warmer second pour was over ripe citrus.
Taste is on the tart side, tart sweet I'll call it, with a subtle bitterness in the back, a bit of Belgian funk. and more spicy coriander. Tropical and citric. Fruity grapes.
Light to moderate in body with great retention. The alcohol is numbing to the tongue. Very drying..
An impressive beer. Full in aroma, taste, and body. A sipper for sure, but I would definitely try it again.

Poured a hazy golden orange, limited head and lacing. Decent aroma, Belgian Yeast stands out, some bread andI am picking up some orange citrus. Pretty good flavor, follows the aroma. You notice the alcohol which at 8.5% is surprising. Carbonation is noticeable and it is not extremely smooth. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that I enjoyed.

Not identifiable as a tripel, more as a muddled saison. Not a bad beer at all, but I question the naming.
