The added flavors are subtle and only show up in hints on the aroma and palate, which is preferred for me. Not bad, comes together well for an odd combination

The writing on the bottom of the can is a bit squished together but it appears to say: "01/15/2018"
Appearance: It has a slightly hazy copper and orange body with a thin film of white bubbles on the surface.
Aroma: It has a massive hop aroma full of mango and tangerine. The aroma just pops out of the glass and fills the room before you even get close to the glass. There is a light alcohol scent that mixes well with the hop aromas.
Taste: It has a strong grapefruit pith flavor mixed with what tastes like freshly ground grains.
Mouthfeel: It has a very nice crispness to the beer. The beer has very good bitterness.
Overall: The can advertises this beer as a "DOUBLE INDIA PALE ALE BREWED WITH COFFEE AND CHOCOLATE" but it never at any point smells or tastes like either coffee or chocolate. It honestly feels a lot like a bait-and-switch. The hops in this beer are on point both in the aroma and flavor. There is a nice grain flavor as well. However, I can not recommend this beer overall due to the complete absence of what was advertised. I will look for more hoppy beers from this brewery but I will be very hesitant about buying anything from them with additives in the future.

This is a very nice DIPA, as far as color, taste and look. Nice hops, good alcohol feel and such. Unfortunately, the coffee and the chocolate were too subdued to actually be a player. The coffee was faint and I did not get any chocolate which was disappointing. Overall, nice DIPA but the additions just did not shine !

A: Hazy brown in color with a large slightly tan head.
S: Dank and resinous hops. Not getting a lot of the chocolate of coffee.
T: dank resinous hops again, with some caramel notes, and a touch of coffee aftertaste, but I would never picked that out if I didn't read the label.
M: Medium thick with abundant carbonation.
O: Overall a good IIPA, but I don't see the point in adding the chocolate and coffee if it isn't really discernible.

Woke up with this on Easter. Overall, a very good beer. Lots of chocolate, reminded me of easter candy.
