Champion Brewing Co. "Robber's Delight"
12 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON L4 08/17/2022 13:40:08" and sampled on 6/22/2023
Notes via stream of consciousness: A hazy straw gold body displays fast rising bubbles that combine to support a finger's width of bright white foam. I don't mind the haze, that's actually fairly common even in German craft brewed helles these days, but unfortunately the head retention is limited and it drops to little more than spots of lace on a clear surface of beer. In the nose it's malty, floral, grassy, and lightly spicy. The malt is rich and sweetish, and threaded through with floral and spicy hops. A stiff bitterness balances it and leads to a mostly dry finish with a dollop of sweetish malt fading to leave some minor spicy hops behind. In the mouth it's medium bodied on the fuller side, and gently crisp and then smooth across the palate. It's a little on the sweeter side but still within style, and quite pleasant and enjoyable.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
