Bought a can at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow. The beer had a murky gold appearance with a very large, bubbly head that never really went away throughout drinking the beer. Aromas included some floral hops to a full bread, biscuit smell. The beer was a little watered down flavor wise, but I could sense a malty bread taste that mixed well with the excellent carbonation and body to the beer. Overall, I found the beer to be pretty refreshing, and it looked good.

Serving notes: Bought in a 4-pack of 16 oz. cans. No born on date on the can, says to check website for more batch info.
Appearance: poured into a standard pub glass, frothy one finger head that hangs around for a while. color is a pale straw-yellow/gold with a very slight haze. decent lacing.
Nose - not really getting a lot on the nose, get a bit of hoppyness coming through and maybe a bit of an apple juice thing going on. mild malt and bread notes in the background.
Taste - my taste might be a little off on this as Ive been drinking alot of hop-heavy IPAs lately, but this beer just comes across as bland. I get a slight pine in the beginning that quickly disappears followed by a wave of unidentifiable bitterness on the finish. maybe a little bit of that apple juice I got in the nose. pretty one dimensional and cant really pick out the hop profiles.
Feel - the mouth feel isnt too bad actually.decent carbonation forms tight, crisp bubbles on the tongue. followed by a bitter dryness. maybe a little watery.
Overall - Not super impressed honestly. I have a limited experience with the IPL genre in comparison to its popular sibling the IPA, but i've certainly had what I would consider better in this style. There just isnt really anything that shines with this one, lackluster looks, bland taste with no real profile to the bitterness. Ill definitely finish the 4-pack of cans I bought with ease, but I probably won't search this one out. Although it is cool to see more brewers taking a whack at the IPL style, which is a style I'd like to spend more time with.
