Purchased at the brewery; poured from a pint can into a pint glass. Medium sized cream colored head with decent lacing. The body of the beer is amber; not as reddish as other amber/red ales I have had. Hoppy aroma is realized on the first sip with plenty of bitterness that subsides on the finish. This brew reminds me of the 'hop bombs' of 10 years ago when the IBUs ruled. I like the fact that it is a collaboration brew for the International Women's Day, "encouraging women beer professionals thru education".
