Got a 16oz shaker pint fill at the Nashua Garden today.
Color is a deep, opaque chestnut brown. Has no head whatsoever and, hence, no lacing. Aroma is on the mild side, with some caramel and lightly smokey notes evident. It feels fairly smooth, though it is a bit less than medium bodied.
Tastes of some caramel and a bit of choco, being slightly sweet. There's some noticeable smokiness with a touch of earthiness present. Hopping is restrained, with a suggestion of florality in the finish. Basically tasty though somewhat underwhelming in the big picture. Prosit!

From the 650 ml. bottle dated 11/25/14. Sampled on March 5, 2015.
Deep dark nearly black pour with silky, lacing tan head.
Lovely aromas of smoke, chocolate, and a touch of grain but low hop bitterness.
Light to medium body.
The flavor brings out the same grain, chocolate, and smoky taste but there is a more assertive bitterness that finishes it off. Very nice.

Pours nearly black, zinnwaldite brown when held up to the light. Frothy, cascading mocha head which dissipates quickly leaving a web of sticky lacing.
Nose is predominantly smoke with dark fruits and a touch of caramel sweetness.
Smoke is the first thing to grace your palate. Aggressive smoke without being harsh or overwhelming. Hint of charred oak, date, raisin, licorice, dark chocolate and caramelized sugar. Clean earthy bitterness in the finish.
Plenty of carbonation, bordering a creamy mouthfeel but still very drinkable.

Bottle from Craft Beer Cellar Nashua. Solid dark brown color with a good sized long lasting mocha head. Light smokey chocolatey roasty aroma with a hint of earth. The flavor is rich chocolate and caramel with a bit of roast and a complimentary smokiness that isn’t overpowering like some smoked porters. Medium body, moderate carbonation and a creamy silky mouthfeel. Really nice porter.
