The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a one finger white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Semi-sticky lace. The aroma starts with some roasty coffee beans, light sweet sharp cocoa beans, some toast. The flavor leans sweet with the roast making a good effort to balance nicely. Sly roasty malt aftertaste with a nice balanced finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good for the style and for me. Overall, very nicely done stout that I would have again.

Poured into a 20 oz glass on draft at The Holy Grail. Pours a very slick black with a massive 3 inch light brown head that leaves behind fantastic lace as it slowly settles into a thick layer of khaki bubbles.
Smell is loaded fresh black coffee, biscuit, milk chocolate, vanilla, and toffee.
Taste follows first comes the expresso, vanilla, oats, with grainy biscuit, toffee, caramel, and dark chocolate in the finish.
Mouthfeel is a little bigger than medium, creamy as hell, mild carbonation as expected, maybe a little dry, and you would not guess this was 8% ABV.
Overall this is a very nice coffee stout, that really shines once it warms. Will get this again before it is gone.

Taster at the source.
I was told this is the granite stout with coffee added. Rich coffee aroma and flavor against a roasty chocolatey caramel stout. Really well made I quite enjoyed this.
