This beer is miscategorized, it is not a cream ale. I would call it a pale ale. It's fine and commonly available, easy to drink. See description here:

NH Ale or American Ale 12 oz. Can. No mention of it being a Cream ale, but just one hit and you know it is.

Light gold color, moderate carbonation, foamy white cap dissipates pretty fast.

A very nice vanilla and creamy scented malt aroma. Maybe a hint of herbalized hops, but mostly affected by the semi-sweet creamy malt.

This has a very simple but effective creamy malty flavor. Light, crisp but finishing smooth for mouthfeel, very easy to drink and very well done, except it relaxes and flattens out very fast. So crush it! I actually enjoy cream ale's very much, and this is one of the best versions of this rather rare style I've had.

This one is perfect for gulping staight from the can on any outdoor adventure, music fests, hikes or relaxing. Every once in a while, a very simple, straight forward ale does the trick.

orange/gold look...malty-bready aroma.
this a great tasting ale, nice for all seasons....Similar to the smell the taste is bready, creamy -- smooth and refreshing. mild hop nice clean finish. Overall this ale is pulls together a smooth ale with enough body to keep it flavorful. A great beer for the Kolsch drinker...fantastic, drinkable, enjoy

From the can with a July 2016 canning date. Sampled on September 15, 2016.

It pours orange-amber with a small white head that fades down quickly.

Interesting aroma of milk, cream of wheat, toast, yeast, and a distant herbal hop note.

Medium body.

The taste has the same cream of wheat milky character with a sweet and toasty flavor too. Mild bitterness at the end. Touch of fruit.

Sample from the source.
Slightly hazy deep yellow color with a decent bubbly white head. Bready pilsner and a hint of cereal and some faint earthy floral hops to counter. Looking forward to come cans of this for the summer.
