Bottle from the Brewery
Pours a solid black color with a small wispy off white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aromas of chocolate covered pitted fruits with hints of brandy and light oak. The flavor is rich chocolate and light roast with a nice apple brandy liqueur flavor to cut through it nicely. Light oak light earthy flavor light roasty bitterness. Very approachable stout the barrel is subtle but adds a great complexity to the beer.
