This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a rich looking burnt amber close to a brown color with a nice looking finger’s worth of white foamy head. Swift subtle sliding lace. The aroma stuck to roasty nuts, some caramel/toast/toffee notes and then coupled by some grassy to semi-earthy hops underneath. The flavor blended fairly well between the malts and the hops; sweet, bitter and earthy. Nicely blends into the aftertaste and rolls on into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Appropriate ABV. Overall, very nicely done brown ale that I would have again.

Deep mahogany color with decent clarity and a bubbly mocha head that slowly recedes. Caramel and a hint of chocolate on the nose offset with some spicy earthy hops. Flavor follows the aroma well. Lingering chocolate caramel in the finish. Tasty well made beer.
