Sample at the source.
Inky black color with a thin tan head that dissipates fairly quickly. Roast and chocolate with bits of earthy hops. Jammy fruitiness with a faint touch of tart cherry lactic like tartness peaking through. Nice beer.

Stopped into 603 on 29NOV19 to check out the new biers in The Mitz family. After having a flight of each, I had a full pour if this one, my fave. A 12oz pour was $8.00.
The small snifter held a dense, jet-black brew. Had no head, minimal lacing, and just a few rim bubbles here and there. Aroma had lots of brandy notes , and dark fruit dominated. Was a solid medium for the feel, with a medium body and light prickle.
Taste had, again, lots of dark fruit. I picked up dates, prunes and raisins to go along with the apple brandy lurking in the background. Quite warming as it went down the hatch. A nice offering... Prosit!
