From a 570 ml. can dated 16 Nov 2020. Sampled Dec 31, 2020.
Attractive looking dark brown to near black pour with a modest, fading mocha head.
The aroma is alive with maple at first and then oak, wood, chocolate, and other roasted sweet malts. Low booze for 11.5 ABV.
The body is medium to full.
The taste is where I pick up more of the Bourbon-barrel aging and wooden crates along with roasted sweet malts. I'm pout off by this odd lingering dark fruit or oak-like character at the end.

Had a 12oz pour of this ($9.00) during a 27NOV20 visit to 603 with Alewife.
It poured a deep, dense black; fully opaque. Had a very thin, rim-job beige head, with light lacing. Aroma was of sweet malts and a distinct dose of bourbon. It was medium-plus, and was silky smooth going down.
Taste also showed off a healthy amount of the bourbon. It was malty and semi-sweet, with the maple also very noticeable. Had a bit of floral hopping, and the bourbon held court in the finish. Nice!

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 11/12/2020. Pours midnight black on a cloudy winters night, with a half finger mocha head that leaves some thin streaks of lace with solid retention. 4.75
Aroma starts immediately with a healthy hit of maple, oaked bourbon, dark chocolate, vanilla, toffee, back strap molasses, and a little char. 4.5
Taste follows maple, vanilla, deep dark chocolate, molasses, toffee, and oaky bourbon really balanced and crazy complex. 4.75
Mouthfeel is big, soft gentle carbonation, maybe a tad dry as you would expect, and at 11.5% extremely approachable and easy drinking. 4.75
Overall this is a very impressive BIg Stout brewed right in NH. 603 Brewery I am kind of wowed, it could hold its own with CBC from Founders and honestly it may be more complex. Cheers all. 4.75
