From a 2021 500 ml bottle with the wax top. Sampled on Dec 26, 2021.
It looks inviting with its dark brown to near black appearance and modest, fading tan head.
Big aroma of roasted chocolate malts, wood, cocoa, roasted coffee, and a slight booziness.
Full mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet and full of chocolate characters. Not much booze in the taste but the sensation hits me at the end. It is what I hope for in this style.
