While working security at the catacombs in Paris I met a master blender from a nearby cognac distillery. They spoke with such passion about their art of blending, that I knew then I had to get an internship. It was at that distillery that I sharpened my skills and developed my love for blending barrel aged liquids. With this cuvée I have blended only the finest of our barrels together to create a truly unique offering.

Been sitting on this for 2+ years... time to dig in.... out in The 'Zebo on a lovely first full day of Summah!!
Pours a dense, opaque mahogany. Has a short, thin beige head, mostly a rim job, with light lacing. Nose has choco and coffee, plus a smidge of whiskey and spicy rye. Feel is smooth, with a medium to medium-plus body.
Taste has more coffee and choco... some black cherry... hints of whiskey and bourbon. No signs of rye or apple brandy here, though. Also getting a suggestion of dark fruit. Good, but was expecting a more complex libation. Cheers!
