Nucleated Tulip
Look: clear pinky purple color. pouring a off-white 1 finger head which quickly dissipated into light sheeting and a ring
Smell: very strong citric acid on the nose here, some red grape juice, fresh cherries, and some sweet toasted oak and baking spices
Taste: Light-moderate tartness, boozy grape juice, hint cherry, oak tannins. Finish is mellow, containing baking spices like clove, nutmeg and cinnamon, and some sweet toasted malt. Very light hint of oak
Feel: Light mouthfeel, with generous carbonation. Semi-crisp finish given the proof
Overall: The nose at first wasn't rather unimpressive, but after a few more sniffs and digging, I found a lot of lovely oak, malt, and spice notes. The taste followed the nose nearly perfectly, I did expect it to be a lot more sour given the strength of citric acid on the nose but it was rather light. In all this is a amazing ale
