A deep burnt mahogany hue with ruby highlights, crowned by a delicate almond-toffee head. Aromas of caramel cream, oak vanilla, dark stone fruit, and baker’s chocolate lead into flavors of sweetheart cherries and candied Valencia orange zest. Velvety and luscious on the palate, finishing with warm notes of toffee, fig, and spiced oak.

From a 0.5l bottle picked up at The Brewery, for $15.00.. enjoying out in The 'Zebo.. .
Pours a deep, opaque mahogany... has some slow carbo within... head is a rim-job of off-white foam clinging to the edges, with light lacing. Aroma has caramel and toffee, with some bourbon notes. Feel is solidly medium, passing nicely over the tongue.
Flavor has loads more malt.... toffee, caramel and a bit of caramelized brown sugar. In the background is a solid layer of bourbon.... another A-1 English Barleywine from the folks at 603.....
Cheers!!
