Golden, thin white head. Lacing.
Fruity and floral flavor, grapes, peaches, well balanced.
Relatively clean finish, maybe a tad papery.
Awesome beer overall.

A thoroughly middle of the road IPA, which is both a compliment and a criticism. Pleasant aroma quintessential of an IPA. Not particularly adventurous, but solid. The alcohol is quite well hidden. On the lower end of being sessionable.

Pretty good IPA, and at $7.99/ 6 pack cans you cannot go wrong. Nice and hoppy, with some fairly standard floral and citrus notes. The 6.6% alcohol is fairly well hidden and again, the price is definitely right in the back-for-the-buck department.
My only few "concerns" are the mouth feel is a bit lacking, maybe not quite the carbonation I was expecting; and the aroma- isn't as welcoming as top-shell IPA's I have had. However, I give a solid 3.75 B+ for overall value and also being quite tasty /palatable.

The appearance is a hazy golden caramel colored body with a two fingered white foamy head that once it dies, a nice clingy sort of thick lacing graces the sides of the glass, lacing forms fairly thick and clings soundly to the sides of the glass. The smell has some strong earthy caramel malts up front, I’m not getting the expected amount of bitter hops I would get from an AIPA. The taste has some earthy caramel taste comes back and some bitterness eventually does come in to assist in balancing it; strong caramel-like aftertaste; dry sweet finish. The palate sits about a medium on the body, not as sessionable as I had hoped. Carbonation is pretty smooth and that can be a good thing, but almost not as harsh as I had hoped for an AIPA. Overall, it's a decent AIPA that I could come back to.

12 oz. can. Poured a wee bit into a mason; rest from can.
Appearance: Somewhat cloudy straw with a foamy white head.
Aroma: Classic IPA nose. Pine, citrus, hops.
Taste: Follows nose. Slightly grapey kind of note along with pine and citrus. Grapefruit, lemon.
Mouthfeel: Nearly sessionable, with some slight alcohol kick. Good hot day IPA.
Overall: Definitely a swell IPA. Not mind blowing but doesn't have to be. Acquired in a trade for Black Hog's Easy Rye'da; both very good canned IPAs.
