At last, after so many CANfounded bottles, I am able to return to The CANQuest ™ at least briefly as a part of my Stout Tuesday today, T, 21 November 2017.
From the CAN: “Our rich, dark milk stout with a hearty sweetness that is perfectly balanced with the subtle additions of cinnamon and ginger.”; “Bucket Brewery has been brewing artisan crafted beer in Pawtucket, RI since 2012. Our beers are brewed in small batches with a focus on subtle, complex and balanced flavors across all styles.”
I enjoyed hearing the Crack! again for the first time in a while, but my Glug was still rather gentle. Nonetheless, this formed two fingers of dense, foamy, deep-tan/light-brown head with good retention. Color was Black/Opaque (SRM = 44), allowing ZERO light penetration. Nose was a different set of spices than the previous Stone Xocoveza. This had a more root beer/birch beer quality, subtly sweet but with a definite spicy presence. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, almost, but not quite creamy. The spices gave it a cinnamon-y red hot quality that meshed well with the sweetness of the base Milk Stout. It was also mildly chocolaty, just enough to be perceptible. I liked that it was not as sweet as many that I have had in the style. Finish was dry, as is to be expected when spices are added to the mix.

Poured from a 12oz can into a tulip glass:
Appearance: very inviting and dark. Pours a nearly black color, with no visibility through the body. Carries a sudsy, brown head with it that lasts for a few minutes. Some slight lacing.
Aroma: tons of cinnamon and ginger, with lots of sweet malt. I thought this beer actually smelled really nice. Sweet lactose is the dominant smell here, but it also carries some nice spice notes as well.
Taste: a letdown after the smell enticed the tastebuds. The cinnamon and ginger were there, but they carried an artificial, off-putting taste. The base beer, still evident through the adjuncts, tasted a little home-brewy. Overly malty, and a little yeasty tasting.
Feel: not sure of the percentage on this brew, but it definitely drinks a little thin, especially for all the adjuncts it's supposed to be propping up.
Overall: an okay milk stout. The beer needs some refinement before adding in all those spices, because they overwhelm and give off a bit of an artificial taste.

Look-
Dark, opaque black body with bone-white head that leaves only slight traces of lacing on the side of the glass.
Smell-
Strong hints of spice in the nose, definitely smell the ginger and the cinnamon.
Taste-
The most dominant flavor is the ginger, which overpowers all others save for a tiny hint of the promised cinnamon, and leaves no trace of the subtle flavors or sweetness one hopes to get out of a milk stout. Gypsum dryness leaves a pleasant, slightly chalky aftertaste, which might be the saving grace of this beer.
Feel-
Mouth feel is dry as promised for this style, though the body is a bit thin and it leaves no oiliness or chewiness to speak of in the swallow.
Overall-
I think this beer tried too hard to push the boundaries of what defines a milk stout; Dogfish did something similar with their Chicory Stout but were much more successful. Here the spices end up overwhelming the pallet and leave no room for what one normally expects to get out of this style. Still better than a Guinness, but I would rather have a Left Hand Milk Stout or even a Murphy's any day of the week.

On-tap 2/7/2016 at Doherty’s East Ave Irish Pub in Pawtucket, RI, served in a tapered pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep dark black color, with a short brown head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains roasted malts, lactose, chocolate, some coffee, some spice and a faint touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out with sweet flavors of ginger spice, chocolate and coffee. Then a hearty roasted malt character quickly follows. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a decent balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Smooth and a little crisp, medium-to-heavy body, medium carbonation, finish is dry slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, slightly filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a decent beer to drink for a while if you’re in the mood for the style.
