Franco-Belgian Wild IPA
Road 2 Rouen Wild Franco-Belgian Style IPA was born of Two Roads Double IPA Road 2 Ruin wort but fermented with wild yeasts. The brew was left to age until it developed the complexity and character we were seeking. We then dry-hopped Road 2 Rouen (the capital seat of Normandy in the North of France) with wet cascade and centennial hops from our own hop yard. The tres Americain result is a complex Franco-Belgian style wild IPA.

EBF pour. This one did not do it for me. It had a strange earthy, leathery aroma and flavor. I didn't find much about this beer that showcased it being described as any form of IPA. To make it worse, I had a minimal sample so I couldn't really dissect it. All I know is that this one I did not like.

Reminds me of my early days drinking Cisco and Ommegang; not a bad thing. Tart, crisp, easy drinking; odor is heady.
