Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The brew pours a hazed orange yellow color with a small head of off-white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is rather strong of a tropical fruit smell mixed with a rather sizable orange juice and tangerine smell. The tropical fruits are heaviest of a mango and papaya, along with a little bit of pineapple. At the same time there is some hop smells with notes of herb and grapefruit, along with just a touch of toast and grain.
Taste – The taste begins with a light biscuit malt mixed with a good deal of tropical fruits and citrus. The citrus is of an orange and tangerine juice like flavor while the tropical flavors are mainly of a papaya with a little bit of mango. There is a light herbal and floral hop upfront, both of which get a little stronger as the taste advances. All the while some light apricot and nectarine join in, all while the orange juice gets even stronger, and with a touch of an almost vodka like taste, one is left with what is akin to a tropical screwdriver like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is on rather moderate in thickness and chewiness with a lighter overall carbonation level. For the screwdriver like tastes the feel is great and makes for a nice sipper.
Overall – Very nice. Sorta a blend between an IPA and a tropical screwdriver. Quite tasty!

Big aroma of pine , grapefruit citrus. Hazy body with a nice full mouth feel. Big and bold flavors as this is a Double IPA, of pine & grapefruit. There is a slight sweetness with big bitterness that follows. A lot going on in the mouth and very delicious. The aroma from the glass is very strong. Not much of a head and carbonation is medium. A very big beer with very big flavor and aroma...Nicely done.

Copenhagen 31/12 2024. 47,3 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Black can with a weaponized hop flower.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam. Covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with sweet odor of Tropical fruit mingling with zesty citrus fruit. Peach and pineapple. Whiff of alcohol. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while, Finish is rather dry.
Potent, zesty and well blanched

So I picked up a mixed twelve pack from Two Roads for the weekend and this was the last unknown brew. Head is white, tall, and wet. Color is opaque golden. Nose is citrus and pine with pineapple dominant. Flavor is true to the name with plenty of sweet fruit nectar throughout. Bitterness is pretty low, and finish is reasonably clean. For such a big beer, you don't sense any booze. Not really to my personal preference, but this a well made DIPA.

Dank and juicy. Fitting name.. finish is clean and the ibus are perfect. Might have preferred slightly more malt but that's not picking. I wanted a little more citrus punch but it's a very enjoyable IPA at a fantastic price point.

Pretty good IPA from Two Roads. Not very juicy unlike the name but a very drinkable brew. Smooth with no aftertaste. A nice IPA. I would definitely have again, wouldn’t crave it but would recommend.

First impression was popping the top and smelling a rush of citrus emanating from the can. The beer is true to its labeling--it is hazy with a generous cap of white foam. Flavoring is where it fell apart for me. Grapefruit and tangerine peel were there, but the dominant flavor from this DIPA was lychee. This is purely personal perspective, but I really don't like that type of flavor, no matter how artfully rendered. Sorry, lychee fans.

Good example of a NEIPA!! Bought a can at Half Time Distributors in Mamaroneck NY. I poured this beer from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass. First thing I noticed was a big, bubbly, foamy white head. The head faded down half way as the bubbles receded and then showed very good retention. Thick bands of lacing formed on the glass. The color was the typical NEIPA straw yellow. Aroma and taste featured grapefruit and tropical fruit - robust aroma and taste as befits a stronger .abv beer. Mouthfeel is moderately bitter but smooth going down. I had it with a Mexican style casserole and it held up well. A good beer!!!

Had it on tap at The Pour House, Exton PA. Slightly hazy, great mouthfeel, and very smooth. Long hoppy finish and a really great-tasting beer. My first time with this guy and will go back for more. It is ranked as Outstanding and I see why.
