Hazy, golden color. One-finger thick, white head. Grapefruits, honey, and malt in aroma. Mild sourness in taste. Moderate bitterness at the end. Feels a bit weird.

Earlier in the day, I revisited their Roadsmary's Baby, this time in a Bottle (GASP!), vice a CAN. I thoroughly enjoyed it & so I wanted to CANtinue with them for a while longer, this time to further The CANQuest (tm).
From the CAN: "Revved Up Flavor!"; "Seasonal Collection"; "Tart IPA"; "Here's to taking the road less traveled, in life and in beer!"; "A natural, harmless sediment may appear".
I heeded that last bit of advice & following the Crack! of the vent, I beCAN a slow, gentle C-Line Glug. I let it run for a bit & then stopped while less than 1/4 of the CANtents were still in the CAN. It foamed up nicely to form just under two fingers of foamy, soapy, rocky, tawny head with limited retention. 8=( Color was a honey-like Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9) with NE-quality clarity. Nose had a wild, lemony funkiness that was nothing like what an AIPA should be. Hey, play with styles all that you want, but understand when you get burnt for not adhering to style, which is how we are to rate & review around here. Mouthfeel was medium. This was tart, all right, puckering & lemony, but how does this relate to its being an AIPA? 8=p Finish was tart & dry, but there was NO way that I felt like I had just been drinking an AIPA! YMMV.

Not bad. I was expecting a bigger beer but it's quite mild. Nice medium gold pour. Soft frothy head. It has a nice sour flavor. Not really tart. Slight hop finish. Goes down smooth. I think i drank that a little to quickly.

Sours often occupy an extreme position in beer choices, but few have the balance to place themselves within the mainstream. Zero 2 Sky may have achieved this.

Bottle from Wegmans. Medium golden, hazy, small ring of white head. Aroma is mostly a no-show. Some hops, some tartness. Taste is mildly sour. Listed on label as a Tart IPa, and entered here as a sour. I can see the confusion, I’m not sure what the intent was here, but it really misses on all marks. As a sour its not that good, as an IPA its not that good.

Brillant orange/copper body. No real head to speak of pulled of the tap.
A thin aroma of sourness and citrus with faint hints of tropical stone fruit.
Faint juicyness with some tropical fruit, citrus with some sourness that falls short of tart. It also falls short of being even mildly interesting.
The mouth feel is watery. Light body, medium carbonation.
Falls short in every way.

Poured from a bottle, dated 1/15/18.
Looks ok, a mostly clear orange amber with some cloudy particulates (though this might be avoided by a more careful pour). A bubbly white head fades to a fine layer.
Smells of tropical fruits, tart lime and grapefruit.
Taste is similar to the smell, tart lime, tropical passionfruit and grapefruit juice. Malt is pretty subdued.
Feels decent. It starts off lightly juicy with the bright fruity tartness, then in the end there's slightly dry musty aspect to the sourness. Definitely multiple layers, and it is a refreshing drinkability that doesn't over-do it.
Overall, pretty good. It's not a super sour beer for sour-beer-people, but it's different enough to be interesting. Looking at previous reviews, I wonder if they've tweaked the recipe between different batches. Worth a try!
