Our Road Less Traveled Cherry Quad is an Abbey-style "quadruple" ale and provides classic Quad attributes of dark rum, figs, toffee, cocoa and spices augmented by a subtle but evident dark cherry character. There are notes of hard candy as well as a spiciness from the use of an authentic Trappist years.

Look - pint can purchased at the brewery, poured into a tulip glass. Ruby red in color, transparent, small foamy head with tiny bubbles that continuously form on the top. bits of lacing that does not stick too much.
Smell - lots of dried fruit, including cherries but also others. caramelized sugar, as well with a familiar Belgian yeast flavor.
Taste - tartness, followed by a hearty body of malts that gives the beer a robust structure. finish is sweet, with a bit of spicy warmness towards the very end coming from the booze.
Feel - medium-full body, average carbonation, and potent at 10.3% (in a pint nonetheless), but alcohol is well masked. little to no bitterness, making this a very easy drinker.
Overall - this is a spectacular fruity quad by Two Roads. the cherry flavor really comes through, and beer is flavorful but not overly sweet. ridiculously drinkable, both a blessing and a curse...

Had on tap. Pours clear, mahogany in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is very cherry--both sweet and tart, raisin, and dark bread. Heavy bodied, sweet, with medium low carbonation. Great cherry taste infused with a good quad. A treat. Well worth seeking out.

Had it at the brewery. Nice amber/red color. Not a lot of cherry on the nose. Boozy flavor you expect from a Belgium quad goes well with cherry. A nice offering.

Very cherry, well balanced sweet and bitter, a bit too much alcohol flavor, but really worth it and a great effort.
