From the mixed IPA 12 pk. BB date : 21 Jan 23. Let sit out for 5 minutes (60F), before opening.
Hazy orangey-gold with light, quickly-dissipating ivory head.
Smell is mostly orange and pineapple, with a bit of fruit punch aroma.
Taste is pretty much same as aroma, but less sweet, with moderate, sharp bitterness.
Feel is medium, fairly smooth & juicy, with moderate carbonation tingle coming in near finish. Linbgering drying sensation after finish.
Overall, a decent juicy IPA, especially for an economy mixed 12pk. probably wouldn't by a straight 12/15pk of this, but as a part of a mix pack, it's satisfying enough.

Poured into a pint glass: color is straw, hazy, fairly dense, head is brighter white with frothy mixed head that presents 1+ fingers thick, head lingers well with a frothy 1/4 inch remaining and lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is citrus rind/pith/juice, tropical fruits with mango dominant, some mild barley malt with note of biscuit and some wheat/oat.
Taste is tropical forward - more pineapple than aroma, some mango; then citrus rind/juice, some dryer herbal hop notes; barley malt notes of toast with wheat/oat backing.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness with a fuller feel, then drying bitterness (more than typical haze).
Overall though tropical forward it does have some dryer, more herbal notes that balance/counter some of the heavy juice potential.

A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits. Taste is pineapple, oranges, light papaya, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Was looking for a reasonably priced sixer as my contribution to the family beer fridge for the holiday weekend and this is what I ended up with. Looks decent, with its muddled ochre and sunken but still viable head. Nose is stellar, bursting with lime and orange flavors. Flavor is balanced and generally okay, with plenty of juice notes. The texture is a little watery at the finish in my opinion, but this is still a solid option for most of your drinking needs, if you are me.

Pours a nice cloudy gold with a two finger head. Nothing much on the nose to me...maybe be some coconut. Taste is soapy and bland. Not a good idea fort for me.

Appearance: Pours a hazy goldenstraw with a two finger head; squiggles and dots hang around
Smell: Lychee, papaya and coconut with a hint of lemon
Taste: Vague tropical fruit flavors of lychee and papaya, with coconut emerging underneath; a lemon cream aspect provides a slight bitterness, through the middle, with the blended flavors lingering into the finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A different flavor profile than typical for a NE IPA but not particularly memorable

I know that I should not get as excited as I do about Two Roads' CANned offerings, but I really dig these guys and the fact that they are CANmitted to furthering The CANQuest (tm) is just a double-plus bonus. My first ship was homeported in New London, CT (NLONCT) & more recently, when I went to a HER Bears/Bridgeport (CT) Sound Tigers AHL game, Two Roads had a solid presence in the arena! I CAN get behind them at this rate.
From the CAN: "Get Lost in the Clouds"; "Cloud Sourced Hazy Juicy IPA"; "Here's to taking the road less traveled, in life and in beer!"; "A natural, harmless sediment may appear".
I beCAN with a Crack! of the vent, followed by a heavy-handed C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. I was dissatisfied by its appearance until I read the latter part of the CAN's verbiage. Time for an in-CAN swirl followed by a REALLY aggro Glug! This all resulted in the formation of two-plus fingers of foamy, soapy, rocky, bone-white head with moderate retention. Pheh. The important thing was that my glass was now filled with a murky, turbid Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) liquid! One must simply embrace the haze! Err, embrace the madness! Err, embrace a loved one & hope for the best. Things get hazy in this new normal age of ours. Nose was deeply tropical with a pronounced pineapple-mango-papaya quality. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, on the approach to creaminess, but not achieving it. The taste remained quite tropical fruity, but with a faint pine mintiness. Finish was semi-dry to dry. I liked it well enough, but I a) did not find it to be "Outstanding" and b) wished for more of a pine presence. Oh well. YMMV.

A: slight haze; deep gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap; very little lacing;
S: ripe pineapple;
T: ripe pineapple and vanilla up front, then pineapple and orange through the mildly bitter finish;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: OK, but not memorable in any way;

7th Review. When the numbers all spin 4, I give a 4.25 overall, as with this top Two Roads IPA.
a) For orange lovers from first blush of hazed light orange body that throws a 1 figure head but lacks lace.
s) Tangerine, orange-flesh tropical fruit, orange rind, candied and marmalade.
t) Follow aroma - As 1 reviewer wrote "Semi-sweet with touch of Cointreau".
M: Mid-bodied, moderate carbonation, tangy, summery, light.
O: Low on caramel malt, high on orangeade.

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a Bell's snifter glass; canned 05/06/20.
A: Pours a hazy, dark golden color with a just over one finger, white head, rim retention, and some soapy lacing.
S: The aromas of tangerine and mango are strongest at first, giving way the citrus (grapefruit, lemon), and increasingly caramel/cocoa, finishing up with a (not unpleasant) solvent note that becomes indistinguishable from Cointreau®.
T: Semisweet. Flavors are mango, Orangeade, barley grain, and caramelized sugars bordering on a molasses note. No more than moderate bitterness contributes to an excellent overall balance.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation (on swirl test). Oddly light.
O: Generally impressed by Two Roads and this is not really exception. Gorgeous nose, up front, giving way to curiosity about the caramel elements. The flavor is distinct and (evidently) a blend of the olfactory elements. The solvent-like note is not unpleasant, but also not a plus.

It looks dirty yellow with insignificant carbonation and no head. It smells hoppy and juicy and the taste follows through very nicely. This is truly a delicious blend of hops and the starches that provide the juiciness. Looks are often deceiving, as there is sufficient carbonation to provide a pleasant mouth feel. This beer rates higher in the important categories.

Great citrus blend. Believe it or not this beer is gluten free. It may be cross contaminated but I have celiacs disease and this pairs well with gf food with no adverse effects. Im buying more.

Delicious. Pours light hazy gold. Sweet hoppy aroma. Doesn't have bold flavors but everything seems to compliment well. Mild citrus and tropical flavor with a little malt sweetness. Really solid. Goes down fast.
