Small amount of haze in the yellow body that develops an average size white head while leaving decent lacing. Resinous aroma spiked with citrus that needs a little time to help coax out some of the nuances. Flavor is more forthright as it coats the palate in hoppy goodness paired with a firm unobtrusive malt backbone. Bitter, piney aftertaste. Well carbonated, full-to-medium bodied mouthfeel.

Pours a nice golden orange with minimal head leaving slight lacing as it goes down. Nose is a bit muted to me, and falls a little short, but I’m getting citrus and pineapple followed by pine. Has a nice big and bold flavor. Notes of pineapple and stone fruit but is dominated by pine. Nice bitter and dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. Overall, this a nice big and bold WCDIPA.

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice hazy dark yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple), nice little pineyness. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple), pretty nice pineyness. Medium body, ABV is hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer.

Best before date of 06 Jan. 22.
Lovely clear, amber color, low clinging head with minimal carbonation noticeable.
Excellent balanced aroma - richly malty, toffee notes in harmony with classic hop nose of damp pine forest and hints of blood orange.
The flavor is equally rich and balanced - terrific blend of caramel malt sweetness and C type hop terpenes - pine needles crushed under vibram soles, wilting wild flowers and sweetened OJ.
Medium bodied sweetness gives way to the tempered hop complexity while both keep the 8.2% well hidden behind the curtain of vibrant flavors.
The finish is clean and hop forward while the toffee notes hang around the fringes.
Maybe one of the best "real" IPA's I've had in a while.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a wispy cap with a thick collar; very nice rings of lace;
S: pine and citrus;
T: follows the nose up front, then pine through the moderately bitter finish;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;
O: nothing makes me happier than someone brewing a WCIPA;
