Light in effects but not in flavor, the textures and modest alcohol of session IPA usually leaves the drinker wanting more. But the session IPA of Two Roads seems to evade that yearning with a bevy of exotic hops that span Equanox, Azacca and Mosaic.
Hazy gold and rounding the rim with an eggshell stained head, Little Heaven reels in the senses with a radiant perfume of citrus, tropical and stone fruits. A hint of herbal toastedness follows before the initial sip suggests light caramel and honey in a modest granola kind of way.
And as the beer's scent translates to taste, the citrus flavors of pink grapefruit shine first. Not to be outdone, the mango and passionfruit flavors follow before a richer rounded character of apricot and light marmalade trend nutty and of dried fruits toward the end. Firmly bitter, the hop's peppery resins shine with the malts quickly taking a back seat for a sprucy, grassy and pleasant botanical late palate.
Light in body for IPA, the beer's crisp and clean finish dries with pin point perfection without exposing the carbonic bite or unnecessary astringency that session IPA's arid nature usually exposes. A long and bitter finish easily outweighs any toasted malt sweetness or perfumy character that was present earlier in taste.

Really exceptional for a Session. Maybe top 5 session I have had. Currently only available in 12 pack can, but I believe they are reviewing.

Semi blanket of lace. Small head. Amber color and quite clear.
Lots of evergreen hop aroma.
Neutral start to the taste, but it becomes bitter quickly. Very high carbonation with a traditional body for the style.
