Copenhagen 1/6 2018. 33 cl bottle from Rewe in Kiel. Red and gold label with what’s supposed to look like Viking ornaments. Looks more like Mayan figures. But who can complain?
Pours clear amber with a small white head. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet caramel, stuffy refrigerator with a touch of cabbage and light sour odor.
Light carbonation. A little flat. Slightly thick texture.
Flavor has prominent sweetness. Only very light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with light sour notes.
By all means a slightly too sweet and generic Vienna. Not much Divinity here.

The colour is amber (20 EBC), the liquid clear. The high head is compact and warm beige. It sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing.
The smell is semi-sweet with quite a lot of ripe fruits and flowers. Honey, caramel malt and a mild yet odd soap-like flavour. Mild bitter notes. Some wet paper and cream candy.
The taste got some very German grassy hop notes. Hay. Honey extract, dried flowers and caramel. Mild bitter flavours with some metal. Toffee. Hints of vegetables. The aftertaste is semi-sweet with some caramel, mild anonymous bitterness and a hint of wet paper.
The carbonation is medium strong, the small bubbles short-lived. The liquid is quite light.
A bit too much unfinished off-flavours for me.
